3rd and 4th Grade-Monday, October 3 6:00-7:00-Parent meeting and registration-5:30

5th and 6th Grade-Monday, October 3 7:00-8:00-Parent meeting and registration-6:30

Please note the following:

1. Tryouts are located in the BACK (NEW) gym at Candlewood. Please arrive by 5:30. After a short introduction, we will ask you to put your child's last name and grade on masking tape (provided). An example would look like this-NOSKIN 3RD

When your child is asked to tryout he or she will take the masking tape and apply it on a pinnie (provided) If the pinnie is too big or small, we will put it on the back of the player's shirt.

2. ALL PARENTS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE GYM AFTER INTRODUCTION AND LABELING. PLEASE WAIT IN THE HALL WAY OR IN CLOSE PROXIMIETY OF THE GYM.

3. Because of the estimated number of players trying out, we want to start as soon as possible. Please ask questions via email at vturf@aol.com We are hoping to complete tryouts for 3rd-4th graders by 7:00-7:30. We will then start with the 5th and 6th graders. Registration will start for 5th and 6th graders at 6:30 in the Hall way outside the gym area.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. ON A TRAVEL TEAM YOU ARE NOT GUARANTEED PLAYING TIME AT ALL. THIS IS A COMPETITIVE TEAM.

2. TRAVEL GAMES ARE PLAYED ON DIFFERENT DAYS OF THE WEEK. GAMES ARE PLAYED AT ISLAND GARDEN IN WEST HEMPSTEAD, SUNY OLD WESTBURY AND HIGH SCHOOL WEST.

3. THE FEE'S FOR TRAVEL ARE 325.00 PER PLAYER. UNIFORMS ARE AN ADDITIONAL 75.00 PER PLAYER. THE PRICE IS FOR A 12 GAME SEASON. THER IS NO DISCOUNT FOR SIBLINGS IN TRAVEL. THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL FEE FOR REFEREE'S WHEN THE TEAM IS IN THE PLAYOFFS. INTRAMURAL IS AN ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION FEE (PLEASE SEE REGISTRATION FORM FOR MOST CURRENT PRICE)

4. IF YOU WISH TO PLAY TRAVEL AND INTRAMURAL, YOU MUST SEND US AN EMAIL BY NOVEMBER 1ST. PLEASE NOTE, YOUR TRAVEL TEAM WILL BE YOUR HIGHEST PRIORITY, SO IF THERE IS A CONFLICT WITH GAMES, YOU WILL HAVE TO PLAY THE TRAVEL GAME.
